SEM-TM , Eilat – January 2007

The main program and photos from the 1st SEM-TM that took place in Eilat, Israel between the 11th-14th, January, 2007. We had friends from Cyprus, France and Switzerland.

George Pistentis, Cyprus: "...This is the 11^th year in a row that I am deep into Round Table life, in Executive council etc. In these years I have attended Round Table events worldwide and felt the friendship and warmth that only Round Table can offer! The last days, though, Makis Andros and me have had unexpected feelings and experienced real friendship and tabling spirit much more stronger than we ever had before!

COCKTAIL PARTY (at Ponton Island/ Hotel Club)

Ponton Island is a newly decorated and luxurious club on the beach across from the Royal Beach Hotel with a stunning deck and private entrance. The restaurant of the club overlooks the Red Sea and its amazing panorama. The Cocktail Party included an open bar with a wide variety of drinks, light snacks and a dance party with a DJ.

Park Timna -
At the entrance of the park we saw the "Time Mine" – a Multimedia Show about the ancient Egyptian kingdom telling the story of a copper mine from ancient

Egypt

till today.

After the presentation we continued with a short walk to the Mighty Pillars of Solomon.

The last part of the tour includes a visit to the lake where everyone had the opportunity to fill up bottles of colored sand from Timna.
